When I first picked up a pack of Avid Bait Screws I didn’t really think much of them but after using them on a local runs water, changing baits was a really easy job. Designed to make it easier to change your hook baits faster and more effective.
I’ve used lots of these “quick change” designed terminal tackle in the past but these bait screws by Avid have been designed as a more all-rounder, constructed for many types of rigs such as the chod rig.
The material of the bait screw is ultra light weight, which is great for using pops or wafters. The material also has no effect and won’t take in any moisture after being in the water for long period of time.

My favourite rig in conjunction with an Avid Bait Screw are chod rigs. Applying a bait screw to a chod is very easy to set up and its great cause you can test the waters your on by changing your hook baits to get the carps attention.
You can get the bait screws in many different colours such as red, black and pink etc but my favourite type is the clear type which is effective when using various pop colours.
