Best Food Bag? Fox Royale Cooler Food Bag System Review

This week’s review is Fox’s Royale Cooler Food Bag System which is one of my favourite pieces of kit I own.

I’ve been using this cool bag for over a year now and comes with me on most of my fishing sessions.

Although built for the indent to store food and bait, you can use it to store other items such as terminal tackle and anything else you need to store for your session.

Below is a list of features that make this food bag storage system one of best on the market.

The review

This cool bag from Fox is superb for any length of session, whether it’s just a day session or even a week.

This bag is an extremely reliable piece of kit which you can take anywhere.

Because of it’s shape it makes an ideal bag for any sized barrow. It’s also super comfy to carry on a shoulder because of it’s adjustable and removable deep padded strap. You can also choose to carry it by hand as the bag provides foam padded handles too.

If you’re planning a trip abroad this bag is excellent because of it’s roomy storage to keep food and other essentials in.

The bag is fully thermally insulated throughout, which is ideal for keeping food nice and cool for days.

The main area of the bag has a 60/40 divider which is handy to separate items such as food and bait for example. The bag comes with 2 large padded side pockets which is ideal for storing items like a compact stove, gas canisters, bin bags etc.

Quality materials throughout

This cool bag by Fox uses quality materials throughout with large gripped zips and a hard thick gripped bag bottom as standard.

The bag uses a dark carpy green coloured material throughout the interior and exterior matching the other items in Fox’s Royale range.

The huge front compartment of the bag comes as standard with everything you will need for long sessions, including:

• 2 x Stainless steel knives, forks, spoons and teaspoons
• 2 x Square black Melamine plates with Fox logo
• 2 x Fox plastic mugs
• 1 x Corkscrew
• 1 x Compact plastic chopping board
• 2 x Large and 4 x small screw top tubs which is ideal for keeping tea, coffee, sugar etc
• 1 x Fleece micro fiber towel

The front compartment contains a centered mesh section which is ideal for keeping items such as oil, sauces, washing up liquid etc.

The cool bag includes two detachable thermally lined bottle storage units with drawcord tops for items such as wine, water, fuel canisters etc.

How much was it?

Prices range from £75-£95 which is true value for money in terms of the amount of features you get from this fully functional bag system.

For some small tackle shops you may need to get this item ordered in or you can simply find it online from sites such as amazon for around £75.
